Youth Mental Health Awareness Course – “Building Healthy Futures”.
This workshop is aimed at Teachers, professional and or volunteers,, working with and supporting young people. The course aims to provide learners with a better understanding of young people’s mental health, which is invaluable in providing early intervention to help a young person who may be developing a mental health issue or illness.
Knowing how to spot early signs and offer practical support and guidance to a young person experiencing emotional distress is essential.
This short course is designed to provide you with:
- An understanding of some of the common mental health issues affecting young people.
- Skills to work more effectively with young people living with mental health issues.
- Discuss practical ways to support young people with a mental health issue and relate to their experiences.
